That means that Cusco has a very long history that you can learn about by visiting different wonderful places, if you are a traveler interested in soaking up new cultures, Cusco is a perfect destination for you. The Andean culture is breathed in every corner of this city and is expressed in various customs, colorful traditional costumes, music and the Quechua language that survives the passage of time.
To begin with the tour we will pick you up at 13:00 hours from your hotel for your tour, at all times you will be accompanied by your guide, the first place you will visit will be the temple of the Cathedral Basilica, this place is the result of several projects developed by different architects who were relieved in front of the works. The first cathedral of Cusco is the Church of Triumph, built in 1539 on the basis of the palace of Viracocha Inca, at the end of the visit to the Cathedral we will go to the Qoricancha or Temple of the Sun, the visit lasts about an hour, you will learn more about Andean symbology, the connection with the stars and the importance of these in the Inca calendar.
Then you will visit the Sacsayhuaman Archaeological Park, where you will first visit the fortress of the same name, where you can appreciate the great stone walls inspired by the god Rayo and also samples of the magnificent water engineering of the Inca Empire.
Then you will be taken to Q’enqo where you can appreciate the most important Ceremonial Huaca of the city, after enjoying Q’enqo you will visit Tambomachay, where you can observe beautiful ceremonial fountains which work perfectly since Inca times.
We will finish the tour around 6:00 pm.
