Itinerary

DAY 1:

CUSCO | CCORAO-Q´ENQO-HUCHUY QOSQO-LAMAY-CUSCO

We will start the day at approximately 6:00 a.m., We will pick you up from your hotels and we will drive to the community of Ccorao, then we will take the detour to the community of Q’enqo (3,848 m.a.s.l.), it is in this place where our hike begins, it is important to mention that the difficulty level of the hike is moderate, the trail will lead us to the Sihua pass and then to the pass of Pukamarca (4,150 m.a.s.l.), where you can appreciate the fertile Sacred Valley of the Incas. Once we have reached the summit, we will descend for 30 minutes to the community of Pukamarca, where we will enjoy a delicious box lunch.

After feeding, we will continue the hike towards the Puma Punku canyon or “Puerta del Puma”, the level remains at moderate difficulty, from there we will take an original Inca trail restored as part of the Qhapaq Ñan project, this trail will take you directly to the isolated and mysterious Inca site of Huchuy Qosqo, located on the Sacred Valley of the Incas at 3,600 meters above sea level. You will discover the secrets of this archaeological site in the company of our specialized guide who will show you sacred temples, warehouses, terraces and other jewels of Inca architecture.

After the guided tour, we will begin our 2-hour descent to the village of Lamay (2,800 m.a.s.l.), where a bus will be waiting to take you back to your hotel in Cusco.
