Upon arrival in the historic city of Cusco, a transfer driver will be waiting for you at the airport with a sign with your name printed on it, ready to take you to your selected hotel. It is advisable to schedule your arrival flight between 9:00 and 10:00 a.m. to ensure enough time to rest and enjoy a leisurely lunch. Afterwards, between 13:00 and 13:20, our team will pick you up at your hotel to begin an exciting tour of the city. Under the guidance of a local expert, you will explore emblematic sites such as the Iglesia del Triunfo, the Qoricancha or Temple of the Sun, and the impressive archaeological ruins of Sacsayhuaman, Q’enqo and Tambomachay. This tour will provide a fascinating introduction to the rich Inca history and culture, concluding around 6:30 pm. Finally, you will enjoy an evening in Cusco, immersing yourself in its colonial charm and vibrant atmosphere.
A su llegada a la ciudad del Cusco, nuestro trasladista los esperando en el aeropuerto con un cartel donde indique su nombre para llevarlos a su hotel elegido. Se recomienda tomar un vuelo con arribo a Cusco entre las 9 y 10 de la mañana como máximo, para que puedan descansar y almorzar con tranquilidad. Pasaremos por su hotel entre las 13:00 y 13:20 para comenzar vuestro tour. Acompañados de vuestro guía visitarán la Catedral del Cusco, la primera catedral del Cuzco es la Iglesia del Triunfo, construida en 1539 sobre la base del palacio de Viracocha Inca; en la actualidad, esta iglesia es una capilla auxiliar de la Catedral. Seguidamente visitarán el Qoricancha o Templo del Sol, la visita dura alrededor de una hora y aprenderán de la simbología andina, la conexión con los astros y la importancia de estos en el calendario Inca. Luego todo el grupo subirá a nuestro transporte turístico, para dirigirse hacia las famosas ruinas hacia afueras de la ciudad. Visitarán el Parque Arqueológico de Sacsayhuaman, donde podrán apreciar los grandes muros pétreos inspirados en el dios Rayo. Más tarde visitarán Q´enqo donde podrán apreciar la huaca ceremonial más importante de la ciudad. After exploring this historical wonder, you can head to the railway station to board the train that will take you to the town of Aguas Calientes. After breakfast at your hotel, our staff will be waiting for you in the main square of Aguas Calientes to accompany you to the boarding point of the buses that will take you to the entrance of the majestic citadel of Machupicchu. The bus ride will give you the opportunity to enjoy even more the nature that surrounds this magnificent place.
Once in the citadel, you will enjoy an exploration time of approximately 2 hours, guided by our expert on the subject; Through knowledge of it, you will be able to understand in depth the meaning and greatness of the constructions that are erected in this ancestral site. Ancient civilizations managed to build a city that impressively fuses security, sustainability and meticulous planning on the towering mountains, all rooted in their deep connection with nature.
After this enriching exploration, we return by bus to the town, where you will have the opportunity to enjoy a fortifying lunch at one of the local restaurants; In addition, they can walk through the town to shop and must stop by their hotel to collect their luggage.
At the indicated time, you must appear at the Aguas Calientes railway station (30 minutes before the departure of your train). After a trip of approximately 2 hours by train, you will arrive back in Ollantaytambo, where you will board the transportation that will take you back to the city of Cusco.

Debido a que la ciudad se encuentra por encima de los 3.000 msnm, muchos llegan a experimentar leves mareos, náuseas e incluso dolores de cabeza. En caso llegaras a experimentar alguno de estos síntomas, lo más recomendable es tomar un descanso de unas horas; también existen medicamentos como pastillas e infusiones que puedes tomar en caso lo desees.
