We will start the day picking you up from 07:30 a.m. to 08:00 a.m. to head to Pisaq. During this journey, we will stop briefly at the Ccorao market where you can appreciate the beauty of the local handicrafts and the sensational panoramic view of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Once in Pisaq, we will visit the archaeological complex located in the upper part of the city and its famous handicraft market. For lunch, we will head to the town of Urubamba where we will enjoy a delicious buffet of typical Peruvian food.
We will continue our tour to the traditional Inca town of Ollantaytambo to visit its incredible archaeological complex. The ingenuity of the Inca architecture will dazzle you! This town, with its narrow cobblestone streets and stone walls, is considered the last living Inca town of the present day, as the original layout of its streets is still preserved. Its preservation allows the living legacy of the Incas to last until today.
To end our journey, we will visit the town of Chinchero, famous for its impressive textile art, and meet some of its talented women experts in traditional textile weaving. Here we will learn how to naturally achieve the various shades that dye the wool, observe the weaving technique and the symbolism of the traditional designs that are displayed in their beautiful creations. In addition, we will visit a colonial temple famous for its mural painting and observe Inca walls in the town square.
Once the tour is finished, we will take you back to your hotel in Cusco at 6:30 p.m. approximately.
